A symbol found in the Indus Valley 4,500 years ago. In Buddhism it has a number of meanings, one common interpretation is the inter-twining of Wisdom and Compassion.

Francis Ackland is an experienced emerging markets executive business leader. He has held senior leadership roles with leading multi-national companies with roles ranging from regional managing director, global commercial vice president and board chairman.
A strategist at heart, he has started, turned-around and grown various businesses in the power and water sectors. From components to turn-key software solutions, he has profitably and sustainably grown businesses across the utility, industrial, commercial and residential market segments.
Francis has an MBA, a Diploma in Corporate Governance and an MA in Philosophy and Religion. He has lived in the UK, France and the United Arab Emirates and has travelled to over 70 countries either on business or working with charities.
He is a Buddhist practitioner in the Tibetan tradition and lives in Dubai.
